Mentored by Troop Secretary, Troop Treasurer
Description The Scribe keeps troop records.  They record the activities of the Patrol Leader’s Council and keeps a record of dues, advancement, and Scout attendance at troop meetings.
Comments The Senior Patrol Leader is the focal point of the troop.  They need to attend as close to all troop functions as possible.

Qualifications

Preferred Age At least 12 years old
Rank Tenderfoot or higher
Experience None
Attendance 50% over previous 6 months

Specific Leadership Responsibilities

  • Attends and keeps a log of Patrol Leader’s Council meetings.  Works with Troop Secretary (or other Adult Leader) to publish meeting notes
  • Records individual Scout attendance and dues payments
  • Records individual Scout advancement progress
  • Works with Troop Committee members responsible for records and finance
